What a successful day! 5 boats carrying 7 topside helpers/ spotters and 18 divers brought up approximately 440 lbs of rubbish. Big Shout out to Marco Island Sunshine Ace Hardware for donating gloves, tarps and buoys! Thank you, Marco Patriots and Scuba Marco for setting up the whole event. We removed over 359 items of plastic, glass, metal, and cloth. Jeff Dawson, dive guru and owner of Scuba Marco wants everyone to know that he has a sale on slightly used anchors guaranteed to work. Great Job everyone!!
| The 18 Divers pulled various items off Second Reef. The big items removed included fishing tackle, anchors, and a whole lot of rope. Thankfully, the weather cooperated with sunny skies and calm waters. Overall, it was a great day. No boats were damaged and the divers had a great time. The next Clean-Up is scheduled for Mid March.
